When we were in Salt Lake we had the most wonderful evening with my grandparents Bob and Allene Fowler. (My mom's father) It is a special treat for my kids to know their great grandparents.
My grandpa is a gifted and talented artist who still paints for hours every day. My favorite thing about going to their house, is not only the amazing food, beautiful decorated interior, and great conversation, but most of all, to see what artwork is keeping my grandpa busy.
He gave Maddie and Josh a 20 minute, kids style, Art 101 class. They loved the hands on attention and especially enjoyed watching him mix so many different oil paints to create fresh new colors. It brought back memories from when I was that age sitting on my grandpa's knee painting with him in Palm Springs.
We are blessed to have the wonderful grandparents that we do. Thank you so much for making my children (and Dave and I) feel so special when we come to your house. We love you!

Looks like your grandparents have plenty of years left in them. That is really nice that your kids can know them.
