On a lighter note...

I can't stop thinking about yesterday when I was ATTACKED BY A GOOSE! I was out running with a friend and this big hissing goose starts approaching me. He makes eye contact with me and flies straight at me! I started screaming and flailing my arms, so then he goes and starts pecking my friend who just covers her head and sprints. We ran for 40 minutes, and on our way back, the goose was awaiting our arrival.

Again, he came at me first. I knew this goose was not messing around, it wanted a piece of me. I wish we had it on tape because it must have looked hilarious. I was kicking, swinging, screaming, and that evil goose KNEW I was going to Karate chop its head off if it got one inch closer. Ok, this is getting dramatic but I was not swearing or speaking in English at this point. I think I was speaking goose language. The words that were coming out of my mouth were so completely bizarre. Once again, the goose backed away from me and flew right into my friends head a second time. We sprinted 50 feet, turned around in disbelief, and the possessed goose flew full speed to give us one last scare. I want to KILL that bird! (Not really, but I am bitter!) Next time I run that path, I am loading my pockets with rocks.

Today I stayed on the treadmill.

Holy cow (or should I say goose?!)!! That's really scary! My sister was attacked by a swan one time, and it was crazy scary! You can't mess with those big birds, they're so strong, and geese have teeth in their beaks!!

I'm glad you and your friend got away, and it might be good to stay on the treadmill until eggs start hatching (or whatever else might have provoked the wacko bird).

oh, man I am laughing so hard right now. Like I said before that same stinkin' bird got me the day before. I had to sprint, SPRINT as fast as I could to get away. I thought, "I'm not gonna make it, I'm not gonna make it!"

Of course there was some guy out on a smoke break watching the whole thing.

I had to walk for a bit after that just to compose myself. I'm not running over there anymore.

Geese are CRAZY! Cameron and I used to like to feed ducks at a certain pond, but the geese kept charging us and threatening to attack if we didn't give up all our duck food. We stopped going to that pond. Those big birds can be scary!

That is hilarious! Geese are SO mean! My aunt used to have 2 of them, and I always hated going over to her house when they were there! They are worse than guard dogs! I wish SO bad someone had been able to video tape you doing the swan scream! haha
