Oh Tyler!

Fun times! There is a certain cupboard that must to remain closed at all times. This is why. Dave is the one who decided to take a picture the last time it happened. I can't count how many times this has happened. Over 10. So, my little man loves to dump all the cereal and basically swim in it.

The one most memorable time he did it, it was 5 minutes after a speech therapy session. I had a particular speech therapist whom I was not too fond of. She liked to hang around for an extra 30 minutes to chit chat about nothing while I was trying to get dinner on the table. So, Tyler went downstairs, and this woman continued to talk about something personal going on in her life as I started to get that feeling, "What is Tyler doing right now?" (I get that feeling a lot.) I couldn't make my escape downstairs fast enough and when I walked in the kitchen 5 boxes of cereal were dumped all over the floor. I was......really upset.......more upset than normal! I looked at the therapist as she started laughing and I didn't say a word, but I gave her a look that I did not find this funny! She said, "Oh my goodness, one day you are going to laugh at this!" Yea, one day I will, but not when it was the 3rd time that month!!!

I can almost laugh about it, but not quite. Maybe when I don't mind spending $20 on all new cereals.

The most recent little sneaky thing Tyler did actually did make me laugh. On Monday night we decided to eat dinner out on our back patio. While I was teaching piano lessons, Dave set up the table and chairs and all the place settings outside and started the BBQ. (sweet husband!) It was a beautiful night and we sat out there eating and talking for quite a while. I looked down through a crack in our back porch, in between the wood slabs, and what did I find?! About 10 DVD's that I have been searching for over the last 6 months. DVD's to the library, DVD's to Blockbuster, DVD's from friends, all kinds of DVD's that mysteriously went missing. Tyler decided putting them through the cracks in the back porch was a really fun idea.

I love my Ty!

I know it is messy, frustrating, and expensive for you - but I can't help but laugh at how content Ty looks with his masterpiece! Good Luck!! And good luck with your new little one's arrival!

I cannot put into words my sadness at all of that wasted cereal. Very, very sad.

Oh man, it's a good thing he's so cute!! That must've been so frustrating with the cereal!

Were the DVDs okay, or were they scratched up? I'm glad you found them, I always hate it when things go missing.

I hope the cupboard door remains shut and locked from here on. :0)
